Solution for Bully Bumper Mount Backup Light Install Where Reverse Light Circuit is Overdrawn

Question:
I have a 2014 Ford F-150 I tried wiring the Bully back-up light into my reverse light, but as soon as I shift into reverse it flashes and all reverse lights go out. How can I wire these into my back-up lights?

Expert Reply:
You are overdrawing your reverse light circuit but I have a solution. You will need an isolation circuit like part # PK5231201.
You will run the reverse light circuit of your vehicle to the center post of this solenoid. One side of the solenoid will run up to the positive post of your battery and the other side will run to the light.
This will allow the lights to be powered directly from the battery but only on when the reverse light circuit is active.
