Will Demco Hydraulic Drum Brake Assembly Fit Trailer Axle with 10 inch Hub/Drums
Updated 10/31/2016 | Published 10/30/2016 >
Question:
will the brake flange I bought with a 10inch ez grease hub bolt on the axel using the existing flange or will I have to take the old flange off and weld on a new one? my spindle is undamaged and the bearings and seals fit right on the axel end. I have a 1985 ranger trail boat trailer with a 2x2 axel.

As long as you match up the bolt pattern of the brake assembly you have to the mounting flange of your trailer they will bolt right up. This is typically very easy since nearly all axles use the same 4 and 5 bolt mounting flanges.
If your mounting flange has a 4 bolt pattern the part # 18788 that you referenced would bolt right up.
