Could Two Kayaks Be Lifted with the Thule MultiLift Cargo Lift and Storage System
Published 10/20/2016 >
Question:
Could I set it up to handle two kayaks? One of them 13.5 feet in length. The other is 16.5 feet. Thanks in advance for any help or advise you can give me.

With an evenly distributed load, the Thule Roof Mounted Storage Lift, # TH572, has a maximum weight capacity of 100kg or approximately 220 lbs.
That means that if loaded properly it could carry the weight of your two kayaks. The tricky part will be positioning the kayaks so that they both lift up and neither slips out. Most likely you would have to have them both on end stacked up next to each other.
