Brake Controller for 2003 Monaco Neptune with Air Brakes
Published 09/27/2016 >
Question:
I have found some info on wiring the P3 to a Neptune but still confused. Will this work with air brakes and how does it get wired? Im looking for the wiring diagrams but no luck yet. There does not seem to be a plug like I had on the 04 Ram pickup.

As long as you can isolate a circuit that only sees voltage when the brakes are applied a P3 brake controller part # 90195 can be installed on a vehicle with air brakes. Typically this circuit is found near the brake pedal or the third brake lights. That is where the red wire runs to on the controller.
Black wire goes to the positive post of the battery, white to the ground of the battery and the blue to the 5:00 pin of the 7-way at the rear of it.
I attached a help article that covers how to hardwire a controller in from scratch for you to check out.
