Hi, I just purchased a 2016 Toyota Highlander and figured I would add some roof rails onto the flatrails that came on it. I have looked everywhere with not luck. Any suggestion?

For your 2016 Toyota Highlander with factory flush mounted rails the Rhino-Rack system parts # RRVA137B-2, # RRRCP31-BK and # RRRCL4 is a fit and would be what I would recommend.
This will give you an OEM looking roof rack that would give you minimal wind drag and noise due to the very advance bar shape.
