Question:
Hello - can you suggest a bike rack for a 2011 BMW 3 series sedan. The rack would be for an electric bike that weighs approximately 62 lbs. I looked at the 2 - bike rack since total weight was 70 lbs 35 lbs each. I am planning a 3 hour road trip by car. Thank you,

The Thule T2 PRO part # TH23JV is compatible with Class I hitches like what you would have to install on your 2011 BMW 3 Series and has a 100 lb capacity. Because of that and the fact this rack only touches bike at the tire this would be your best option.
For a hitch you would want the Draw Tite part # 24857 which is a confirmed fit that does not require any stabilizer straps like the Curt hitches do.
