Question:

Im looking for a 2 bike rack compatible with a 2016 Subaru Impreza FIVE door not a sedan which would accommodate a trunk rack. Ive entered the make and model at your website, but there isnt a distinction between the two Subaru models. Help!

We do have trunk mount bike racks that will fit your 2016 Subaru Impreza 5-Door, as long a you don't have a spoiler. I recommend the Thule Passage # TH910XT which has adjustable arms no-sway cages to prevent the bikes from coming into contact with each other or your Impreza as well as the FitDial technology to help with installation.

If you're carrying any women's or children's bikes you may also need an adapter bar like the Kuat Ubar Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01. This will keep any bikes that do not have a straight top tub level while carrying them on the bike rack.

If you do have a spoiler on your Impreza, another option is adding a trailer hitch and using a hitch mounted bike rack. A compatible Class III hitch receiver that will fit your car is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 76084. This will give you a 2 inch hitch receiver for a variety of bike racks.
