Fitment and Compatibility of Edge Evo Programmer on a 2006 Ford F-150 5.4L from a 2006 F-150 4.6L
Question:
Good Morning, I had a 06 F-150 4.6l and had purchased the Edge Evo programmer for it. I didnt like how the 4.6L performed so I know have a 2006 F-150 with a 5.4L. I didnt sell the programmer with the 4.6L truck and I reloaded the stock program before I removed the programmer from the truck. would I be able to install this programmer in my current truck with the 5.4L?

If by Evo you mean the Evolution by Edge # EP59YR you were looking at, then yes! This programmer will work on both the 2006 Ford F-150 4.6L and 5.4L V8 Engine.
I just wanted to let you know that you did the right thing to reset the programmer to stock before removing it. This allows you to have no extra hassle while installing it into your 5.4L F-150.
