Question:
I have replaced my trucks tires to a bigger size, when changing the tire size in custom settings, do I also need to change the the Gear Ratio on the programmer. Also what is the best setting for everyday use?

No, you will not need to adjust the gear ratio setting on the Edge Evolution Programmer part # EP59YR when changing from the factory tire size. The gear ratio setting should only be changed if a different ratio ring and pinion set has been installed in which the tuner would be needed in order for the vehicle's ECU to recognize the change. The tire size setting is more or less to ensure the vehicles speedometer remains consistent and accurate.
For everyday driving, I recommend using the programmer on the "transmission tune". This tune will not provide any engine performance increases but will provide firmer transmission shifts which helps increase the life for the transmission.
