Keel Roller Bracket Recommendation with 1/2 inch Wide Mounting Slots
Published 07/21/2016 >
Question:
Im looking for keel roller brackets for my boat trailer, similar to your 400R, and CE10500G. My roller axle is 5/8inch in diameter. The slots for mounting bolts need to accommodate 1/2inch bolts. In searching for these brackets locally, Ive found that, universally on the local level, the slots for the mounting bolts are too small for the 1/2inch bolts by about 1/16. On your website, the dimensions of the slots are not listed. Just how wide are these slots? Please give me a figure measured to 1/16 of an inch. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The slots for the mounting bolts on the CE Smith Universal-Fit Split Panel Brackets # CE10500G are 1/2 inch wide by 5 inches tall. Because of that this would fit what you need since it is also designed for a 5/8 inch shaft.
