thinking about replacing an alluvium hitch mounted pole that gets stuck open due to condensation, salt spray etc...

This telescoping 16' flagpole holds up to two flags and has a very durable construction, and includes tire stand and a storage bag. The fiberglass construction should solve your problem caused by condensation/salt spray.
