I am looking to purchase a roof rack system for my 2012 Silverado 4 door LTZ turbo Diesel. I want to be able to carry a small aluminium boat 3.4mts long and weighing in at 55kg. Will your rack system hold the boat given the wind factor when the truck is travelling along at speed..

We do have roof racks that will work great on your 2012 Silverado.
I recommend the Rhino-Rack heavy-duty roof rack. This roof rack has a 130-lb weight capacity. To order this roof rack you need part # RB1375, part # RRRLKHD, and part # DK227.
I recommend securing the boat to the crossbars and to the vehicle for added security. For bow and stern tie-downs you may want to check out part # SR0704.
