Question:
I have a 2014 Ford escape with a towpackage . The dealer service manager told me that the escape is not designed to have an electric brake controller. This makes no sense to me as it has 3500 pound towing capacity. I have studied over information on your web site and it doesnt seem too difficult to install a controller. My only concern is causing electrical problem issues from tapping into the brake pedal switch. Do I need to worry about this from your experiences? Thanks,

We have successfully installed brake controllers in Ford Escapes just like your 2014 model without any problems at all. Check out the video I attached that shows us installing our best selling P3 part # 90195 in a 2013 model with the # ETBC7 kit.
I believe the person you spoke with meant to say that there isn't plug in adapter under the dash to install the controller.
