Weight Carrying Capacity for Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack with Canyon Cargo Basket on 2014 Acura MDX

Aeroblade says weight capacity of 110lbs and the basket says weight capacity of 150lbs. What would be the capacity when I am using the basket on top of the aeroblade?

The lowest rated component of your roof rack system will limit the weight capacity. Sometimes the lowest rated component is the cargo basket, sometimes it is the roof rack, and sometimes it is the vehicle's roof.
I found the Thule AeroBlade roof racks for your 2014 Acura MDX to all have weight capacities listed at 165 pounds. For example, the AeroBlade Edge Rack # TH7602-TH7603, # THKIT3132 is listed as having a 165 pound weight capacity. At this weight capacity, the Thule Canyon # TH859XT would limit the carrying capacity to 150 pounds.
If you found that the crossbars on your MDX are only rated for 110 pounds, or the roof capacity of your MDX is 110 pounds, then when using the Canyon cargo basket you would be limited to carrying 110 pounds.
