What is Overall Height of the Inno Ridge Rooftop Cargo Box
Published 06/25/2016 >
Question:
Is the hatch clearance of 14.8inch on this model measured from the top roof of the vehicle or from the rails? I have a 2016 Equinox and would like to have my vehicle with this carrier fit into my garage. My garage door is low so I really need to know the exact height this carrier is after it is installed on carrier racks.

The overall height of the INNO Cargo Box part # INBRA220R-BK is 13.4 inches. That is how tall the box would be above crossbars.
The hatch clearance dimension of 14.8 inches is actually a different dimension all together. This dimension is the distance require between the center of the rear crossbar and the hatch seam for the box to allow the rear hatch to open.
