just wanted to clarify the light bar used. they come in different lengths and can fit front or back on most vehicles and are popular with hot rodders

Yes, when people install light bars at the rear of their vehicle like what you often see below the tailgate of a truck it's trailer wiring that gets used to activate it. If you were talking about a lightbar like what you see on a police car, we don't have a solution for that...

So for your 2014 Kia Soul you would want the # 118637 which I attached an install video for.

Yep! That's the type of lightbar that a 4-way like the part # 118637 would be able to power.
