Question:

I purchased a small motorcycle carrier that fits in a standard 2inch receiver image below and was planning on purchasing this trailer hitch to use it. My question is that if the motorcycle is around 350 pounds and the carrier itself is around 45 pounds will this hitch be able to handle it? If not, is there another trailer hitch that I can purchase for my Jeep Wrangler YJ 1995 that can?

Curt trailer hitch # 13657 for your 1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. The capacity only goes up to 400 pounds when towing a trailer and using weight distribution. So for hitch mounted accessories the hitch tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds it what you will need to go by.

If the combined weight of the bike and carrier is over 350 pounds then you will not be able to carry the bike on the Jeep with a hitch mounted carrier. You would instead need to put the bike on a small trailer and tow it. This is much safer anyway and puts much less stress on the vehicle.

If you decide to go with a small trailer then the recommended ball mount is # C45030. For a 2 inch ball use # 63845. For a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 63847. And for trailer wiring you can use # 118356. I have linked a video showing how the wiring installs.
