Would this product work on a 4inch x 4inch bumper?

I would instead recommend the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979011 skid wheel for your 4 inch by 4 inch bumper. The plate would need to be welded to the frame and then the included mounting hardware be used to secure the skid wheel. The Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979015 mounting hardware would be at the 4 inch distance and unsuitable for your bumper. We do not have a skid wheel that will accommodate the size of your bumper without having to drill through your frame.

The # UF48-979015 skid wheel works for 2-1/2 inch or 3-1/2 inch square frames.
