What options do you have for trailer lights adapter to install in 2001 Toyota Solara? On your website I see there is a product number 118407 that allows the harness to be plugged in. Would this work on my vehicle?

The # 118407 trailer harness wiring kit is not designed as a fit for your Solara, but we do have trailer wiring harnesses that can be hardwired. It is a little more work but really not that tough.
I recommend a kit like part # C59496. This kit includes the Modulite that helps protect the Solara wiring and a circuit tester to help you identify the correct wires on your Toyota when installing the harness.
You can have someone sit in the driver seat and go through the functions while you test the wires at the back of the vehicle behind the tail lights, and follow the included installation instructions.
