Tow Package Fuse and Relay Locations for a 2011 GMC Acadia without Factory Tow Package

Question:
i have gm hitch and gm harmess when i plug in to the harness on the right side of my car the 7 way is not active do you know if i just missing fuses at the panel this car did not come with tow package

There are several fuses and relays on the 2011 GMC Acadia that control the tow package wiring/power. Under the hood in the fuse panel there is one labeled TRLR PWR for trailer power. Check that one first.
The others are labeled:
LT TRLR STOP/TRN (1 fuse and 1 relay)
RT TRLR STOP/TRN (1 fuse and 1 relay)
TRLR BCK/UP (1 fuse and 1 relay)
TRLR PRK LAMP (1 fuse)
It is also possible that a GMC dealer will have to do something to "activate" the tow package since your model did not come with the factory tow package.
