Can E-Track be Flush or Recess Mounted Instead of Surface Mounted

Question:

Hi, I want to flush mount E-track on the sides and floor of my trailer. Is there a design guide or other written guidance/instructions for how much of a gap or lateral clearance I should have from the mounting holes on top of the E-track to ensure unencumbered access to various E-track hardware?

There aren't specific instructions for flush mounting E-track such as # E19148 but as long as the openings on top are clear and there is space enough below the holes to insert/remove accessories then it can be flush mounted or recessed some. It is pretty versatile stuff.
