Looking for the brake light trigger wire on a 2016 Cadillac SRX . The BCM does not have a white wire on connector #4 like you have on the 2012 in faqs

Expert Reply:
A lot of times vehicle manufacturers will change up wire colors for no real apparent reason. You will be looking for connector X4 which will be in terminal 11. This is the dedicated third brake light wire. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to make sure that is the correct wire. It should only show a signal on the circuit tester when the brake pedal is pressed.
