Question:

I need to be absolutely sure that Im getting the right part. Im looking at this adapter to replace one that came with the 2006 GMC Canyon Crew Cab truck that I just acquired. That one, appears to be for a Roadmaster system - not sure since this is all new to me. But, it appears in shape and utility identical except for the towbar connection stubs at the front. When you remove the pins at the top and measure the center to center distance, it is exactly 28-1/2inch - so at least were a match there. Is this a simple plug and play, so to speak or will I need to also replace the angular brackets with the pin at the top and hole at bottom that are already there? To be clear, I have a Demco Commander towbar. Please let me know if theres anything else I should consider before purchasing this adapter.

By the photo you kindly provided, you have a nearly complete Roadmaster Base Plate Quick Disconnect Assembly. It looks like you're missing at least one linchpin, part # RM-910024.

According to my Roadmaster representative, the # RM-032 adapter is compatible with your Demco Commander tow bar.
