Fifth Wheel Rail Install Kit Recommendation for a 2012 Dodge Ram 6 foot Bed

Question:

Hi there my wife an I just got a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Im pretty sure its the 6 foot bed and we are looking for a kit so we can install our fifth wheel in it we had a 05 that I used the universal kit but Im hoping there is a kit for our new truck where we dont have to drill any holes or weld hopully you guys can help me thank you very much

For your 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6 foot bed the Reese install kit part # RP50142-58 would be the kit I would recommend. This is a custom fit rail kit that will minimize drilling and install time on your truck.

You will need a slider hitch too since you have a short bed truck to be able to make tight turns without cab interference. The Reese 16k part # RP30075 would be a great choice as it' has a jaw system that will provide excellent king pin contact and has a round tube slider which will operate much smoother than a square tube.
