My contact at Edge Products suggested a different tuner for your 2007 Ford F-150 Triton 4.6L V8, their Evolution CS2 Performance Tuner # EP85350. This will allow you to read engine oil and transmission fluid temps and RPMs without adding any other parts.
The Edge Evolution Programmer for Ford Triton 4.6L V8s # EP15051 does not include temperature probes for transmission fluid or engine oil but it does allow reading engine RPMs through its connection at the OBD-II port. On your truck oil temp cannot be read but transmission fluid temp can be since this too goes through the port connection to the truck's computer.
I have sent the written instruction manual for this tuner to you in a separate email and in the set up section on page 24 you can see how the display can be customized to display RPMs and up to three other parameters. Pages 27-28 of the manual indicate all parameters that can be read. You may want to check with Ford using your VIN to confirm what data is sent to the OBD-II port on your particular truck.
