For your 2016 Jeep Compass the Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack part numbers # THARB47, # TH460R, and # THKIT3097 has been confirmed as a fit.

The Thule Portage part # TH819 that you also referenced will fit these crossbars as well. They were designed to fit on the Thule Aeroblade bars just like this. If you are asking about available crossbar space after they are installed that would depend on the width of your canoe.
