Question:
Hi, I wish to install a fan powered, dual oil cooler on my FJ Cruiser. Im considering the D15220 or the small D15230. I will be towing a 2000-3000lb trailer, in potentially hot to very hot weather, at slow speeds, at times in sand, up and down hills. What would you suggest for oil cooling, and what adapters if any will I need?

Expert Reply:
Derale remote transmission/engine oil cooler # D15220 is a great choice for your 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. No adapters are needed for the transmission cooling part except for # D13004. For the oil cooler part you will need installation kit # D15751.
You may need to use a shorter oil filter which in this case Wix filter 51381 is the shortest one that is compatible (3.14 inches tall).
