How Does the Gooseneck Hitch Ball of a B and W Turnover Ball Release from a Hitch

Question:

is there a pin holding the ball in when it is overturned upside down in storage? How do I remove it ? I yanked and yanked and it does not come out. not rusted in, but looks like a pin is going across it.

There will be a lever underneath the rear wheel well of your truck that will need to be pulled out so that the ball of the hitch can release.

I attached a picture of what the lever will look like.
