How do I know what spindle my utility trailer has?

Expert Reply:
The easiest way to determine what spindle your trailer has is to use a dial or digital caliper like the part # PTW80157 to measure it where the bearings and grease seal ride. I attached a picture that shows where these measurements are.
If where the inner bearing rides measures 1.378 inches, outer bearing 1.063 inches, and then the seal 1.719 inches the hub part # AKIHUB-545-35-K that you referenced will fit. This is the number 84 spindle.
