Question:
I have a2013 silverado hd and just bought a 07 mobil suites 5th wheel. I cant the hydraulic brakes on trailer to work. When i bought the 5th wheel they told me they checked the brakes to make sure they activate but did not actuall pull it. Is this common problem with chev trucks. I have heard that some do have problems.

Does your truck's brake controller have an electric over hydraulic mode, and is it in the mode? It sounds like you either don't have a compatible brake controller or you don't have it set in the correct mode for your brake style.
If you need a compatible brake controller the most popular option we offer is the P2 part # 90885.
I attached a help article that covers how to install the brake controller in your truck for you to check out as well.
