Question:
purchased part number 47515 to convert 4 pole to 5 pole flat on a 2012 GMC terrain. I can not locate the back up wire. I watched the Acadia video and the wire locations are very similar. How can I test the wires?

The Terrain has the reverse lamps in the liftgate, so you'll need to locate the wiring harness that feeds the liftgate. The wiring harness can usually be found behind one of the trim pieces that cover the inside corners to either side of the liftgate. Have a friend place the transmission in reverse, as you use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and test the wires in the harness until you find a wire that only shows current when the transmission is placed into reverse.
