Question:
I have a Curt #C56334 for my 2012 jeep Liberty. If it is parked for a couple of weeks the battery goes dead. If I disconnect the battery supply wire to the power module the battery stays up. Is there some way to check the power module. When I remove the battery supply wire and check it with a meter it shows a ground if the connectors are connected to the tail lights.

Expert Reply:
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56334 if left installed on a vehicle like your 2012 Jeep Liberty should not be draining the battery. If the 4-way connector isn't powering anything there wouldn't be any draw on the battery.
That being said, if a vehicle isn't driven for a few weeks there is good chance the battery will be drained. Especially in cold weather.
You might just need to put your vehicle battery on a maintenance charger like the part # CTEK56353 when you are going to park it. I use one of these for a car that I only drive a couple times a month to keep the battery charged. Otherwise it would die just like yours.
