Are the Rampage Jeep Center Consoles Waterproof or Weather Resistant

Is this unit waterproof/ weather resistant?

I spoke to my contact at Rampage and he said that their Locking Center Consoles like part # RA31517 are not weather resistant or waterproof. You wouldn't want to leave your jeep out in the rain with the top off with this installed.
