Can the 3020-P Harness be Used to Install a Brake Controller in a 2004 Dodge Ram

Question:
I have a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad with 7way factory plug. Will the 3020-P brake controller harness that is designed for my truck work with a Tekonsha Commander Brake Controller with a date code on the bottom of 11-96? I have this controller that I took off my former Chevy pickup that I had direct wired to the Brake Peddle wire as in the original instructions. Im trying to avoid having to buy a New Brake Contoller if possible.

You can use the install harness part # 3020-P to install a brake controller in your 2004 Dodge Ram. You would need to cut off the end that would plug into the brake controller and then hardwire those wires to the controller instead.
This way you will be able to still use your current brake controller.
