Question:
Hello I have a 1999 Nissan Frontier and as a part of my job my car must have a 2nd pair of tail lights fitted on the roof. The original car has separate turn/stop lamps and I would like to combine them for the 2nd set but i need to know if this converter would flash out of phase opposite to the lower pair when the brakes and turn are on as they wont allow this, as it must flash together with the lower amber one. If this converter does flash out of phase, do you have a converter that doesnt do this.

The Hopkins Vehicle Wiring Converter # HM48915 will do what you need; it will take the separate stop and turn signals from the individual lights on your 1999 Nissan Frontier and combine them onto one wire as required by typical trailer lighting systems. With this in place you could then add a set of magnetic towing lights like # TL21RK.
I confirmed with my technical contact at Hopkins that this converter's turn signal output will be IN PHASE with the vehicle's turn signals.
You might like to use quick-splice connectors # SWC501915-1 to tap in to the Frontier's wiring.
