Overall Height of the Reese Goose Box Adapter # RP94720

Question:

I want to know the reach or rise of the goose box from the ball connection at the floor of the bed to pin box attachment at the Wings. For example what is the rise clearance at 25 inches rear word. And again how far back and how high is the front of the wings. I saw on your site the first row of mount holes is 17.75 rear word and 19.2 rise to the hole. But how high is the bottom of he arm?

On Reese Goose Box # RP85FR from the bottom of the coupler portion to the bottom of the pin box body at the back where it attaches to the trailer's wings measures approximately 15-1/2 inches.

The distance from the center of the coupler portion back to the center of the rear row of bolt holes is 25-5/8 inches. The overall height from the bottom of the coupler to the top of the back of the Goose Box is approximately 22 inches.

I see the measurements but dont comprehend how they would relate to clearance to tailgate and box side walls when making sharp turns. I have a 2017 Ram 3500 4x4 long bed with factory tow package and ball set in bed. Side wall height 21. Will I have an issue using 94720?

The measurements are to determine what pin box you have and whether or not the Reese Goose Box # RP94720 will work with it. The Goose Box will work with the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 0719 pin boxes. There should be a tag on your king pin or pin box that will say what model it is. If not you will need to take a few measurements in order to determine what you have. I have provided the link to our help article to help you get these measurements. You will have no issue with the Goose Box clearing the tailgate and the sides of the bed if it fits your pin box.
