Question:
I need a wiring diagram for a tekonsha voyager brake controller. I purchased a new 2010 Avalanche and it has a trailer package but I want to make sure I wire it correctly, can someone assist?

We can help you get your brake controller wired up with no problems. The 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche does not have a plug under the dash, but the wires are already ran. You only need to splice the brake control wires together with those already present under the dash. The wires are found under the left side of the instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
The wire colors are red/black stripe for power to the brake controllers black wire, White for ground to the brake controller white wire, light blue/white stripe for brake light signal to the red wire on the brake controller, and dark blue wire for the brake output to trailer to the blue wire on the brake controller.
I have included helpful links to wiring for your Avalanche and to instructions for wiring and setting up the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller, item # 39510.
