I can help you get a new lock and key for your Sears X Cargo Sport 20 Rooftop Carrier.
To remove the old core and insert the new lock core, you will need to use a Thule Control Key # 853-1251. Next you will want to order a lock and corresponding key, I recommend the # THKEYN022 and the # THLOCKN022. This will allow you to mount a new lock into your rooftop carrier and if you wanted a spare key, just in case, simply change the quantity needed before adding this to your cart.

Since my carrier is so old but in top condition, how do I know if it is a Thule lock? The key number is 2018 with no letter in front of it.
