Would the Erickson Stainless Steel Anchor part # EM09095 Secure ATV to Trailer

Question:
Hello, I have a 2007 Jayco Baja 10y Pop Up Trailer with a front cargo area that can carry and ATV/Quad. We just purchased this trailer and found that it did not have good tie-down points for securing my Quad. Can these be mounted vertically and still have the same strength ratings? Do you recommend a back plate? They would be red area on the photo. Thanks,

You can mount the Erickson Stainless Steel Anchor part # EM09095 in any orientation and it will still have it's 1,200 lb capacity. If you are attaching the anchors to a metal surface on your trailer a backing plate would not be required.
This has 1/4" mounting holes designed for pan head bolts with flat lock washers and nuts.
