I learned that on your Ram the computer monitors how long the fluid has been in use but I was unable to determine if it also reads the temperature of the fluid. You could go old school though and use a gauge, # D13009.
I checked with Superchips about the Flashpaq F5 # SU3845 and they do not have a list of parameters it will monitor on your 2008 Dodge Ram with 5.7 liter Hemi. From what I could find this and other programmers can monitor the information that passes through the computer so if the vehicle itself does not monitor the fluid temperature then the programmer will not be able to either.
