Happy New Year. Thanks for you previous email. Question... will the Kuat optional locking pin recommended also fit the 2 inch hitch? Some Kuat hitch comments mentioned that they had to sand the rack in order to get fit hitch.... should this issue be of concern. Thanks.

Kuat offers two different hitch locks, the # HL1 for the # B202-114 Beta that's designed for the 1-1/4 inch receiver and the # HL2 lock that's designed for the # B202-2 Beta rack that's designed for the 2 inch receiver. If the correct lock is used for the correct rack, no alterations of any kind will be necessary (we don't recommend altering the rack in any way, as it will compromise your warranty protection.)
