Looking at 4 ILL24CB or 2 ILL39CB lights for a 6x12 ice house looking for recommendation

Expert Reply:
Both of the Optronics LED dome lights you referenced, 24-diode # ILL24CB and 39-diode # ILL39CB, feature sealed water-resistant housings, a lifetime warranty on their LEDs and superior electrical efficiency - using about one-tenth the power of standard incandescent lights.
The advantages of the # ILL39CB are that it can work in both 12V and 24V systems and that it includes a built-in low voltage cut-off (when the battery's output drops to 11 volts) to prevent battery drain. Unless you need these features I suggest going with the less costly # ILL24CB. Four, or even two or three, of these lights should provide satisfactory light output inside your ice house.
Four of light # ILL24CB will also draw less total current than two of light # ILL39CB; 0.48-amps total versus 1.33-amps total. This means a longer battery life and more fishing time.
