The Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch w/ Remote, part # DL25001 you came from may be just what you need. This winch has a 3,000-lb load capacity and includes 25 ft of 7/32 inch diameter cable which will certainly be able to handle the machines. The included remote for this winch is mounted in or under the dash of your van. This winch comes with a 15 ft cable to attach to the positive battery post and a 5 ft cable that can be attached to the negative battery post or a suitable ground location.
For mounting this winch you will need to find a way to attach it to the van frame. This will require drilling through the floor to make sure you can handle the 1,500 lbs you said the machine weighs. You will need at least 12 inches of straight line pull in front of the winch so I recommend using pulleys like part # BDW20004.
