We can't ever recommend you remove emissions related components on a vehicle. If you remove catalytic converters on a vehicle you will end up having Service Engine Soon codes pop on the dash of your vehicle.

But to answer your question directly, your vehicle will still run just fine without catalytic converters installed. Cats do not actually help the engine run in any way. All they do is clean up the emissions. The O2 sensors before the cats are what is used for the air/fuel mixture of the engine and the O2 sensors after the cats are there to make sure the cats are working properly. Removing the cats will cause these sensors to send a Service Engine Soon code.

Pls help, my Toyota highlander as not been starting, but I discovered that my exhaust is empty without catalyst which was proberbly removed at the port . model 2005. What do I do? Could this cause the engine not running.

If your Highlander doesn't have a Catalytic converter then it will still run, it just won't have that help cleaning up the emissions just like Jameson said above. There are a multitude of reasons why a vehicle won't run (like no gas, dead battery, etc...) so your best bet would be to have a friend who knows vehicles or a mechanic come look at it.
