I have a great recommendation for tire chains for your 2016 Ford Explorer with 245/60-18 tires. Take a look at the Thule XG12 chains # TH01594250. I have tried out many different styles of tires chains and these are among the easiest to install.
Be sure to consult the vehicle owner's manual for specific information on the use of tire chains. I have also included a link to our help article on tire chains for you. I have also linked a video showing how this style of chain works.
