If your motorhome does not have a brake controller, you will need to install one to utilize the electric brakes on the tow dolly.
I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885. This brake controller has an easy-to-read LED display and preforms continuous diagnostic checks to alert you to any potential problems. I have attached a review video of this brake controller for you.
The brake controller will need to be hardwire installed in your motorhome. If your motorhome does not already have a 7-way trailer connector at the back, you will need the Universal Brake Controller Installation Kit # ETBC7. If your motorhome already has the 7-way connector, you will want # 5506. This kit includes the hardware and wiring needed to install the brake controller.
I have attached a help article on installing a brake controller for you.
