Can The Stromberg Carlson RV Ladder Be Sized Down To 56 Inches

Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder w/ Hinges - Aluminum - 99-1/2inch Tall x 13inch Wide. Can this ladder be shortened to about 56, Did not want the ladder to extend all the way down, to keep children from accessing the ladder. Or do you have a ladder assembly that is made shorter?

The Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder with Hinges # LA-401 can be customized to fit each RV's needs. I spoke with my contact at Stromberg Carlson and she said they do not have a minimum length requirement for the ladder, so you can modify the ladder to the 56 inches you are wanting.

One thing to keep in mind when cutting the ladder is to maintain an equal spacing between the ladder rungs.
