The Curt T-Connector, item # C56038, is compatible with your 2010 Acura MDX. The harness plugs into a connctor behind a trim panel in your rear cargo area.
A mounting bracket, item # 18144, can be used if the trailer connector is routed outside of the vehicle permanently. A No-Drill Mount Bracket, Short, item # 18140, provides an easy no drill installation option.
The Curt Circuit Protected Powered Converter w/ SMT, item # 56146, is designed with surface mount technology which is a software based system for converting the trailer lighting signals on your vehicle to the standard two wire system on trailers. The converter protects your vehicle wiring by only using approximately 5 milliamps of power from the tail light circuits to signal the converter to provide power from the vehicle battery, to power the trailer lighting.
