Is it legal to use on the roads since objects appear smaller?

The K-Source Panoramic Rearview Mirror, # KSRM010, is designed for off-road use only. The law requires that rear-view mirrors use flat glass where as this one uses a convex mirror making objects closer than they appear to be so this should not be used when driving on regular roads.
