Question:
When I enter my vehicle information on your site, it only comes up with a class II hitch. However, I watch to carry 4 bikes, so I need a class III. The CURT 13217 seems like it would fit the bill, but I am concerned because you dont list it as a choice. Is there something about the fact that my vehicle is a 1993 Weekender that prevents this hitch from working?

The Curt Trailer Hitch # 13217 is a confirmed fit for the 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan. This trailer hitch is a fit for all models of the 1993 Eurovan, so the manufacturer doesn't differentiate between styles or trim levels.
If you need a 4 bike hitch mount bike rack, I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. This bike rack will fit the 2 inch hitch receiver on the # 13217 hitch, and has a weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike. The anti-sway cradles will help prevent bike to bike contact during travel. This rack has a tilting feature that allows you to access the rear cargo area of your vehicle. The built-in anti-rattle bolt helps keep the rack secure and minimize movement of the rack. I have attached a review video of the rack for you.
If you plan on carrying bikes with alternative frames, such as kids' bikes or women's bikes, I recommend using an adapter bar, like # TH982XT. The adapter bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem. This allows the bike to be positioned more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
